Cherished possessions offers a Complete, Hassle-free estate liquidation service. We are proud of our prompt, courteous and confidential reputation in these matters.

Our service includes:
1. Free household assessment of merchandise by one of our consignment specialists. This phase includes identifying items for consignment but not pricing. At this time we will also pick-up any jewelry so that we can personally
   transfer it to our in-store safe for evaluation and testing.
2. We offer one free pick-up of agreed upon furniture, antiques, assessories, glassware, china, silverware etc. Additional pick-ups will carry a nominal charge.
3. All Merchandise will be priced at our store in South Portland. Arrangements will be made to discuss and agree upon all pricing with the consignor.
4. Upon agreement, all merchandise will be taged and displayed in our showroom for sale. Our consignment system features an automatic markdown system of 15% every thirty days for a three month period. As with all Cherished Possessions consignments, items not sold within the three month period will need to be picked-up within ten days of contract termination. Failure to do so will be considered abandonment of property and Cherished Possessions will assume all rights and dispose of any remaining merchandise as it sees fit.
5. A check will be mailed to the consignor of record automatically on or by the Fifteenth(15th) of each month for items sold during the previous month. A detailed description will accompany each check describing exactly what was sold and for what price.

Additional fee-based services:

6. For those items of a special nature, Cherished Possessions works closely with a local appraisor with over twenty five years experience. Please call or talk to us directy with regards to appraisals since there are numerous types and various considerations.
7. We provide a full range of house cleaning services so that everything from beginning to end will be hassle free. Again, this service has different levels to choose from, so please discuss your needs with one of our team members so that we can accommodate your exact wishes.
